    Course Description:

    This is the core courseforBachelor degreeofthe administrative managementmajor.Itis a subject thatintroduces thecurrent state,basic concepts, basic theories, and analytical methodsofperformance evaluation in public administration. Itcomprehensivelyexplains objective knowledge and specific methodsaboutthecurrent state,constructionof evaluator,selectionofobject,constructionofpattern,evaluation methods,organizing andimplementation, andsystematicfunctionsof performance evaluation in public administration. Students canmaster the basic concepts, basic theoriesand professional knowledge. It also cultivates the students’professional skills andgood careeraccomplishmentto do the related workofperformance evaluation in public administration. Thecorecontent of this course includesthe overview ofperformance evaluation in public administration, performance evaluation indeveloped countries’public administration,selectionof evaluator andobjectabout performance evaluation in public administration,constructionofpatternabout performance evaluation in public administration,evaluation methodsabout performance evaluation in public administration,organizing andimplementationabout performance evaluation in public administration,systematicfunctionsof performance evaluation in public administration, performance evaluation in Chinese public administration.The main teaching methods are heuristic teaching, interactive teaching, case discussion,combination ofmultimedia teaching and traditional blackboard teaching,presentation ofcase analysisbased on team work. This course is a test course. The result of total scoreconsists of two parts: the gradesofnormal attendance and homeworkand the scoresoffinal close exam, which account for 60% and 40% respectively.
