Course Description:This course is an elective course for the administration and management major. It mainly deals with the origin of the national civil service system, the recruitment of civil servants, classification management, assessment, training, promotion, retirement and so on, especially since the promulgation of the Civil servants Law. The reform and development of our civil service system and cadre personnel system are introduced in detail. Through the study of this course, students will be familiar with the specific ways to recruit civil servants, the organization of the national civil servant examination, the type of questions, the ability requirements of the candidates, and grasp the performance evaluation, motivation, salary, training in the specific management process of civil servants. Retirement and other specific systems enable students to understand the various phenomena in the management process of national civil servants from the perspective of theory, as well as the essential problems behind the phenomena, so as to have the ability and quality of civil servants. The teaching of this course is divided into two parts: classroom teaching and experiment. The experimental part is mainly composed of two experiments. The teaching of this course is mainly taught in class, and the examination method is combined by the open book examination and the usual results, accounting for 60% and 40% respectively.
